You've also most likely heard of Mad Max, lauded for both its technical achievements and revolutionary portrayal of women in a blockbuster action film.

Now, there's a new tumblr called Feminist Mad Max that outlines all the moments in the film that challenge common sexist tropes in Hollywood blockbusters.

There are many examples of Furiosa (Charlize Theron) being treated like a proper authority figure instead of a love interest or an overly-sexualized background character.
