Owl Around the World - Portuguese and Polish Localizations 
Thanks to the dedicated and loyal work of the
Translation Project coordinators and translators, HootSuite has once again taken flight to new places. The dashboard is now localized in Brasilian Portuguese and Polish bringing the number of localized languages up to
15 with German and Italian next on the list. And after many requests from our Brasilian owls, Google owned social network, Orkut, has now been integrated with HootSuite.
To celebrate the newest localizations, a HootUp was held in
São Paulo with one planned for Poland soon. We also welcomed a few new owls into our family, see them and the rest of the owls

Dubbed “the holy week for our industry” by HootSuite VP Community,
Dave Olson,
SXSWi was a whirlwind of good times and great talks! Shining through the March showers, the HootSuite Owls were spotted aboard the
HootBus launching t-shirts using the CO2 powered HootCannon, hosting
core conversations, leading “
unconferences” and meeting all the friendly folks in Austin.
Truly a sight to behold, Owly and the HootBus attracted attention from
USA Today,
Mashable,
The Wall Street Journal and

OMERS Ventures - New Investment Partner On
March 29, 2012 OMERS Ventures announced one of the largest Canadian venture capital transactions to take place in the past 10 years, a $20 million ownership stake in HootSuite. HootSuite would like to extend a big thank you to our nearly 4 million users for your continued support and for contributing to our success. The transaction received a ton of media coverage including articles from both
