So I am sitting on the back porch chillin'. I look over and see what appears to be a hawk. It hangs around so long that I am able to go dig out my 2011 Canon PowerShot SX40 HS.
After stumbling and fumbling around I am fortunate to get a few camera shots off.. before it flies away. Thing is I have no idea what type of hawk this is. Please educate me if you know. I have more pictures of the back and tail if needed. Thank you in advance.
